Introduction & Overview
The interface modules from ZEB Automation connect the world of industrial 24V control technology with modern IT interfaces. They allow for the simple connection of up to eight digital inputs and outputs to PC systems, terminals, or networks.
Thanks to the integrated logic, the modules can not only act as a pure I/O interface but also execute independent MFR time functions (Multifunction Relays) such as switch-on delays, clock generators, or wiping pulses.
Key Features
The following properties apply to the entire MFR series (XSP, XEP, XUP):
- 8 Digital Inputs: Designed for 24 VDC, galvanically isolated via optocouplers (
). - 8 Digital Outputs: Depending on the model, either as semiconductor switches (L-series) or relays (R-series).
- Status LEDs: Direct visual control for every input and output as well as data traffic.
- Separate Power Supply: Separate feed for logic (8..30 VDC) and load/outputs to increase interference immunity.
- Industrial Grade: Mounting on DIN rail (TS35) and connection via pluggable spring-cage terminals (max. 0.5 mm²).
