MFR-Setup Software

To use the internal MFR Timing Functions (such as switch-on delay, clock generator, wiping pulse), they must be stored once in the module's EEPROM. The free Windows software MFR-Setup is available for this purpose.

Functions

The following parameters can be set with the software:

1. Mode Selection: Assignment of a function (e.g., Switching-on delay) to each of the 8 output channels.
2. Times: Definition of time values ($t_1,t_2$) in milliseconds, seconds, minutes, or hours.
3. Network (XEP only): Assignment of IP address, subnet mask, and gateway for Ethernet modules.
4. Live Diagnosis: Display of current input and output states for testing purposes.

Establishing Connection

1. Connect the module and supply the Logic Voltage (8..30V).
2. Start MFR-Setup.exe.
3. Select the COM Port (for USB/RS232) or the IP Address (for Ethernet).
4. Click on "Connect".

Note

After configuration, the data is permanently stored in the module. The module then works autonomously without needing a connection to the PC.
